Separated my pregnant platy, due-anytime-now to her own tank..does it/she need less or more light?

The small birthing tank is next to the big tank, near a window but I put screening over it to diffuse the light. I can adjust the blind, it gets alot of sun. Now it's nighttime and she seems relaxed now that other fish aren't bothering her.
