DO I have head lice??? Help!?

Ok, they say your scalp has to be itchy to have lice, but my scalp doesn't itch (or not much). Rather, it feels like my hair is moving so it distracts me. I don't notice it when I'm having fun or concentrating, but sometimes it feels like something is moving in my hair. I looked in my hair and I had white stuff. Most of it was dandruff bc I flicked it right now but like 2 one them were like an inch from my scalp and harder to take out...but when i got it and cut it into tiny pieces, there was nothing "inside". Rather, it just seemed like a hard piece of dandruff... it was roughly oval shaped but I mean, it was very rough and didn't look like an egg
