Can Listerine kill head lice?

My daughter has head lice and have used the RID lice treatment 2 days ago. Looks like most adults are dead but still finding smaller lice that are still alive. I've read/heard on the internet that the original Listerine mouth wash can kill head lice when sprayed on hair or washing with it. Is this really true?
