well the big ting is its not your situation. what that said. you have to tell him and her that if they don;t try then they never know what could happen. it may end bad then again it may end on a good note as well. I personally have a good friend whom we met and dated as a couple broke it off lost contact came back had a FWB relationship and then we are still best o friends right now. so they need to at least try. take a stab at being happy
