I had a MRI done on my back can it be fixed?

I'm a 31 male in the army and got an MRI done on my back and the doctors notes for my MRI says I have Diffuse disc bulge and small central disc protrusion at the L5-S1 level with minimal thecal sac compression. How bad is this and can it get fixed?
