How to kill nits (lice eggs)?

I have head lice and nits. I've tried everything! I have tea tree oil in my shampoo and conditioner. But... my mom doesn't have the best eyes to comb either. I cant tell if Im getting rid them and their coming back or if they have been staying in my head. PLEASE HELP ! ):
