How do I kill lice eggs?

I do not have any live lice in my head but I have eggs. I've washed my hair with that one shampoo so many times its not even funny. If I straighten my hair little sections at a time and blow dry the very top of my head and every where on high heat will it kill the eggs? And is there any other way you know of?
