Is it my cousin or my dog?

So recently i found out that my little cousin has lice and it took a while to find out because shes blonde and shes really young so she wont sit still... anyway i think she was playing around my dog because i realized he started to get white things in his hair... is that possible for dog to have lice? also how do you get lice out of hair ...what product (in storess) are the best
