How does thyroid hormone get into the bloodstream?

The Thyroid gland produces Thyroid hormone which travels through the bloodstream. But how does it reach the bloodstream? Diffuses through the closest vein? orr....?

Ailments such as hypothyroidism could be easily cured by thyroid supplements. It's better to go for desiccated porcine thyroid capsules as a hypothyroidism treatment to lessen any harmful side effects.
