Is it right for me to feel disappointed about the way this girl is acting?

So I guess I should start from the beginning. I currently have two jobs at the moment; they're both at dental offices specializing in different things. One of my offices was looking for another assistant to help during the week day since I am only doing part time. Well, the doctor had asked me to look around to see if I could find someone who'd be willing to do it. I had a friend who had dropped out of dental school 2 weeks right before she was to finish the program & earn her certificates. I had addressed this w/ the doctor and she said it was fine but she wanted to talk to her. I told my friend to come in for an interview and it apparently went great. She started working that same day for 7 hours. At first, she was excited. She promised to not let me down, embarrass me or made me look bad; It's barely two days later & I got a text from her about 2 hours ago saying that she wanted to quit! Here's the thing: she doesn't want to tell the doctor straight up and she was just going to stop coming in. The reason? The doctor wasn't going to pay her until she got her certificates. I told her straight up that because she's not in an internship program or in the process of getting her papers, that in order for her to get paid, she needed her certificates and she just bluntly told me "by law, I AM supposed to get paid." Is it right for me to feel disappointed in her and to feel like she just totally betrayed me? Or am I just over-thinking it? I've stopped talking to her for the last couples hours to calm myself down but I still can't help but feel this way.

Can Swimming Pool Chlorine Kill Lice?

I think I have lice and my a friend told me that pool chlorine can kill the lice and nits. Is it possible?

What hair product has heat protection but also moisturizes my curls?

I have curly hair. I'm looking for a product that will moisturize my curls so that they don't feel dry. But I also want it to have a heat protectant for when I diffuse dry my hair. Any recommendations??

Is this a scenario where the person was "asking" to get hit/attacked?

Your friend is seriously out of control. She does not have the right to hit another person regardless of the reason. Going to jail might be beneficial.

How do you grow back hair?! please help!?

My sister's friends gave my whole family head lice, including me. I have really thin, fine hair so when my mom combed the medicine out of my hair, it came out in clumps. Now, I have a bald spot on one side of my hair. Please, I need advice on how to grow it back. I have senior pictures next month. Please help!

Why is my dog shedding like crazy?

She is ten years old and has recently been scratching and shedding a ton. We bought a doggy brush and some medicine drops just in case it was lice, fleas, or ticks. We brushed her for a few minutes five or so times and the brush came out full every time. We didn't see any fleas or ticks or lice. Her skin didn't look or feel red and irritated. Does she need a good bath (hasn't ever had a bath before)? Should we take her to the vet? What should we do?

College dilemma! I need your help!?

Ok. So my dad works at a local college. A perk of that school is that you can go there for free. I know it's an amazing oppurtunty but I just dot want to go there. I am planning on going for communications and in my home area it's a terrible place for that. So I am constantly asking myself why would I go here in thosnplaxr when I'll end up getting stuck here at some dead bet job with no life and hating it because of ny dads job (plus he is VERY flighty and not reliable so who is to say that he will even be there for th at least 4 years I need?) but I just don't know none of my famy supports me but most people I talk to say your life is too important to not do what you want and be happy. So what do you guys think? Would you take the free school for a debt-free lice, even though you'd be miserable?
