I don't feel the need to get angry, am I weird?

I don't ever get really angry. I can only remember a couple of times in my life that I have almost seen red and felt I was screaming so much I was almost out of control. Not that I mind being out of control, I just think that things can so often be delt with better when one is in control. You can then be calm, think things through and talk without screaming. It's less stressful and emotional and it uses a lot less energy. The last time I remember losing my temper was when I left my husband 15 years ago. I was so angry that he had not listened to me all the times I had tried to talk to him about problems we were having and the situations that I was finding unbearable and he chose to ignore and carry on. Consequently things had broken down and fallen apart, I was angry that all we could have had was gone and I'd tried so hard to keep things together for both of us. I screamed and shouted and then left and since then nothing has ever got me so wound up. I am now a single parent with a child with severe learning difficulties and my life is very tough on a day to day basis, I suffer with depression and anxiety and even the smallest simplest things can be a massive challenge, but I don't get angry, what would it achieve? Am i weird??

I picked some hens up recently and have discovered they are riddled with lice! Ive been treating them with louse powder and red mite powder but am getting nowhere! WHat am I doing wrong? This girl is my friend's sister okay . Medical and Psych discharge from the army? How long could it take?

I know that no one can give me a definitive answer, I'm looking for more of a tentative idea. My husband has been in the army (active) for two and a half years. He was diagnosed with one diffused disk and two bulging disks. He also has degenerative disk disease (which I hear is common with his injuries. His pain management just tried shots in his back, and said that if they didn't work, then they would just chapter him out. My husband isn't very happy with that, but since all of his friends are deployed and he has been on profile for the last 6 months, (he's a Combat Engineer) he feels like he's of no use to the army anyways. He has also been diagnosed with 'army triggered PTSD', which is bs. He had a crappy childhood and his rich sister didn't want him in anymore and got the surgeon general involved and it was just a hot mess, so he couldn't talk his ways out of it. They are telling him to chapter on both. I have no idea why. Does anyone know about how long this Chaptering process will take? I have to have another surgery, and I don't want to put it off too long and then end up not having tricare. I also am VERY antsy about going home (I'm a mommas baby) and everyone is wanting to know about how long the chapter is going to take. (They are renovating our house back home, and want it ready for when we get there). He is being told a year...but you know how rumors and information here and there goes in the military. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation and could give me at least tentatively an idea so I can calm my mom down with all those renovations? Please only reply if you have experience this. I would really rather not have a pvt that just got in who heard something from someone or something like that just giving me more of 'well, what I have heard' kind of thing, we have heard enough of that, lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm so anxious.

I wondered, is there any family around that could possibly be utilized to assist, if not, by your father being military, i don't see why social services or a military agency, couldn't assist your family, at least with a in home care assistant to help your mom out and because you are too young to have to carry so much on your shoulders! But, believe me, there are programs out there that can help, your mom just has to take the lead to get those resources! Also, your father needs to get alittle more involved, i know he is in the Air force, but he is a father and Husband! Good luck to you and don't give up hope!!

Husband is losing it?

My husband and I split up yesterday, i ended up calling the cops on him for putting his hands on me and threatening to take away our kids. How to get your lurcher to come back?

she will stay with me on the walk and comes back when i call her from chasing rabbits, only to a certain distance though, and shes recently started jumping and nipping me, i know shes just over excited but its really annoying. i push her down and make her sit and calm down before carrying on. i walk her through feilds for a about an hour and a half in the evening and about 40 mins during the day, and still when i get to the gate she just stares at me, i just to run and dive into the grass and she would chase and i would catch her that way but that doesnt work anymore she just stands and stares at me, or starts running in circles. i tried putting her on her leads during the walk and letting her off again now she doesnt come close bacuse she knows what im doing shes a collie greyhound cross so very clever. shes perfect in the house does everything i tell her too this is the only problem. ive had lurchers before and i know they are excitable just want some tips on how to get her to come back better. thanks

get it out of your head. The more you think on this the more mistakes ur gonna make. Clear your head. Mentally start fresh. In my lifetime of riding i cannot tell you how many times ive fallen off. Big damaging falls(my right shoulder is smaller than the left because of the scar tissue ive accumalated there) and small falls that you laugh about. Ive cried on a horse, ive fallen and due to the horse running over me had to walk back with no pants (now its funny -then it wasnt) and you know what ? I wouldnt change it. Ive fallen so much im not scared anymore. You go through these weird patches when it everything feels like its off...then you come right again. All of these experiences are gold to your experience. A top competing rider who has never fallen off or cried or gotten mud on their shoes still has less experience as you. Experience is not the level you compete at or how perfectly you can ride its the amount of **** youve put up with and survived.

First of all "Mister Trollz," you're a dumbass. But anyway, I think that you have to give him a chance. You obviously haven't known him for that long so you have no way in knowing or judging what type of guy he is. But also, you seem to like him a lot already... or at least are very interested. Remember not to get too attached too quickly, in case he isn't everything you were hoping for. But it's also very obvious that he's interested in you too. If the guy didn't give a **** about you, why would he want to spend his own precious time being your partner when he could've picked anyone else? The only other reason would be if he just wants to get in your pants, but then that would make him a bad guy. So here's my advice. Don't go judging him yet when you barely have anything to judge him on; that'll only make you confused, and thinking about him alll the time (if that hasn't already happened). I suggest that you do what you've been doing, but ALWAYS keep your gaurd up. My dad yelled at me and I gave him the middle finger?

There has never been a day that passed in my life (im 18) where my dad did not yell or curse at me. Seriously, my earliest memories of him was his yelling and cursing at me. anyways, today he REALLY yelled, and yeah i talked back but I never yelled back, i just replied in a calm voice. After 5 minutes he wouldn't shut up and I was just ignoring him and my blood was boiling inside me! i couldn't take it but i couldn't tell him to shut up. But i lost control of myself and i gave him the middle finger and he just about exploded. he was shaking from anger and i got real scared. i tried to calm him down and he just ran and yelled even more. i could see people outside my house stop outside. I feel so guilty for doing that but at the same time i can't say im sorry for doing it. i can't really express myself verbally so i felt that was the only way i could express myself at the time. I think this pretty much ended our relationship. Do you think it was a horrible thing for me to do? Should I move out? I don't think i can face him any longer....

ikk exactly how you feel! my little sister got it( i didnt live with her at the time) and she gave it me and my little brother. First i would clean all your sheets, pillows, ect.. to make sure everything on there is gone then i would spray it with a lice killing spray you can get at a drugstore for 5 dollars. i would also recommend buying the shampoo to prevent lice, they have one and one to treat lice ( just in case!) then have your mother or an older sibling go through your hair to get rid of any nits or bugs or just to check to make sure. have them do it every night. some people use mayo, Vaseline, and other stuff like that but honestly i didnt think they worked. but if you would like you should try it! hope this helped :)

How do I control my anger in certain situations?

I am 16 years old. I only get angry and aggressive at the people that I know the most, usually being my parents who frustrate me on occasion; which I am not proud of at all. Most of the time I am ok with my parents and we have a good relationship but on times I just lose it. Earlier this evening I was playing on FIFA 11 and I lost a game that I thought that I deserved to win, this lead me to get angrier and angrier. This has always been a problem to me and has lead to me being in tears when I was younger however still wanting to play the game. I threw my controller and started shouting uncontrollably very loudly and obviously swear word were used. I didn't used to swear when I got angry at the computer games however over the past 2/3 years I have not been able to contain them and my parents have given up trying to control me or calm me down. I have had complaints from neighbours in the past and have had some embarrassing times stood at the door trying to explain to a complete stranger why I was so loud. In every day life I am usually more confident around my friends but when it comes to people I don't know I am really quite and get really nervous. I was wondering what the best option would be on trying to stop this because it's an ongoing thing and is hard to stop. I have a cat whose about 10 months old and he's terrified of balloons. They don't have to be helium balloons, just regular size balloons filled with air. He's never been exposed to balloons before or anything like that and he's an indoor cat. My daughters birthday party was a few days ago and there were balloons. And he's been so terrified for days he won't go anywhere but under the bed. We saw each other on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday... on Saturday we went to his friend's party together, and it got crazy. People there started to fight and because his brother was hit, he jumped in for his brother's sake too. My girlfriend cheated on me with a guy that she used to have sex with a lot. The last time she had sex with him was in 2010 but he's been staying at their house for a little while...and somehow it happened. What to do with your annoying brother-in-law?

There is only one problem in my happy relationship with my partner - its his younger brother. He is 31 and still lives with his dad (they lost their mom 2 years ago), never had a separate, grown-up life - his serious partners moved in with the family, together with his parents. And you think your dr is wrong. I got news for you, I have had a bad/broken back with spinal fusion. They had me go to PT at first when they knew there was a fracture. With what I read yoiur back really isnt that bad. They treated the mild to moderate facet disease with the injection. It looks like they are hoping the PT reverses the bulges ( which does happen). Do they have you on any pain meds? Do you need a referral to go to another Dr? If not then go yourself, afterall you are entitled to a second opinion. Get it from a orthopeadic surgeon. Don't bother with pain management, That is usually considered last chance. They Didn't send me to a pain management until, they had exhausted everything else INCLUDING PT.

How to lower my sweating..?

I'm a 14 year old girl, and i sweat a LOT more than normal. My thighs(bottom and sides), butt, hands, feet, and under arms are always sweaty. I've gone to the dermatologist and they gave me drysol, and I use it for my under arms. It doesnt work on my hands or feet. I'm afraid to use it on my thighs and butt because I'm not sure if its safe. But its so embarassing because even if I sit in shorts for two minutes, I'll get the seat or anyone next to me wet/moist. People notice my problem. I'm not overweight or anything, and I'm relatively healthy(no known health issues, and im not overweight.) Whats the cause of my sweatiness? Its possible that its genetics, but I dont know of any family member with this problem. Releasing my turtles?

I released my turtles in a pond that's at a park. i didn't think this was all that bad of an idea because the pond is really calm and it has a few of other turtles living there. i think its a man-made pond and there are very few fish there and ducks. people come by a lot and throw food into the water to feed the ducks and turtles so i didn't think food was to much of a problem, but everywhere i read that releasing a turtle into the wild is a bad idea and i know in my heart it is, but what is the chance of my turtles living in this kind of environment?

cutting your hair would make it eaiser to do the treatment but in my opinion it's not worth it they would still get you just the same. just wash EVERYTHING change your sheets and pillowcase EVERYDAY put all your stuffed animals in a plastic bag and get rid of them for a month and don't see your boyfriend again untill his head is completely clean annd treat your hair every single night annnnd try putting mayonnaise in it and letting it sit and then washing it out oh and vacuum your floor and clean all your furniture and don't see any of your friends until your head has been clean of lice for at least a week,it usually takes at least 15 days to completely get rid of lice but if you do everything i just said for 15 days it will go away,cutting your hair will only make it easier to comb the nits out of your hair and in my opinion isn't worth getting it cut. good luck :)

Emergency Help!!!!! Orchid Flower started to wilt, why?

Okay, so I recently purchased a Phalaenopsis Orchid from an asian grocery store. One bloom still closed. The grocery store temperature was tepid-cool where the orchids were placed. When I brought it home I placed it in a northern (slightly west facing) facing large window. I transferred it into a larger drainage ceramic planter and used Orchid Soil which is basically bark from the looks of it. I didn't remove the original soil because I feared shocking it from the transfer and the type of soil it was changing over to. The room is above the garage which is very warm in the summer months. The geographic location is humid as well and I allow air-flow circulation in the room. I also kept the blind partially closed to diffuse the light and the leaves have changed from a dark green to a brighter, lighter shade of green. I'm assuming that the blooms are relatively fresh because one wasn't bloomed when I purchased it last week. However when the final bloom opened, the first bloom started to wilt. The soil is moist, watered it once after doing the transfer a few days ago and it drained well so I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. Is the room temperature to warm? Is it the transferring from one pot to another? Is it still too much sunlight? This is a repeat of last time I received an orchid and it's frustrating not knowing what to do with it. When I lived in BC, I had the same type of flower and it stayed in bloom for months. Unfortunately, it died because I flew out of province and the person I left in charge of it didn't care for it properly. So my question is, what in the world am I doing wrong? : (

No matter what you should walk your dog once a day even if it is a lazy breed. Funny enough I think that a rottweiler (one of the breeds you actually like) may be a good choice. I had one for years and she way very calm and was a fantastic dog. The problem with Rottweilers is that you may want one that is still a puppy (between 6-8 months) because they can get bad habits and can be aggressive if you do not establish dominance and teach them that biting is not acceptable. I have anxiety but I am not sure if I have had an acually panic attack before. The first time I thought that I might have had one was when I was sitting in class and I was getting really annoyed by the people sitting next to me while I was trying to do my work and I started getting shaky, it was hard for me to breathe and I was trying not to cry but I was able to calm down. It was really weird because I had never freaked out so much over something so little. Another time was when I was meeting with my advisor and she kept getting in my face over a project that needed to be done and I got all shaky again had trouble breathing and had to leave because I couldnt stop crying and hyperventilating. A few months ago I was just in my house and my mom was on the treadmill. The noise of her on the treadmill doesnt usually ever bother me but I was so bothered by it I had to lock myself in the bathroom and curl up in a ball and I started crying and hyperventalating. So pretty much what happens to me when I freak out is I feel really floaty or shaky at first then I have trouble breathing and start crying/hyperventilating. I know panic attacks are supposed to be really scary for people but I have never felt like I was dying just like I was going crazy. What really happens when you have a panic attack?

Ever since I had my gallbladder out I have been having episodes of intense pain, sometimes to the point that I have to go to the hospital. I had never had morphine before until I started going to the hospital during all this. During the past five months I had to have five morphine injections through an IV. I don't particularly like having to be given morphine all the time but it's the only thing that sort of, key words, SORT OF works to calm the pain. So my question is how is morphine measured (mg, ml, cc, etc) when given through an IV? And was in a normal dose? The last time I was in the hospital they gave me "400" of morphine and then about fifteen mins later another "400" of it. That seems like an awful lot to me and I could feel it tingle through my body but maybe that's actually normal? I'm just curious.

DO I have head lice??? Help!?

Ok, they say your scalp has to be itchy to have lice, but my scalp doesn't itch (or not much). Rather, it feels like my hair is moving so it distracts me. I don't notice it when I'm having fun or concentrating, but sometimes it feels like something is moving in my hair. I looked in my hair and I had white stuff. Most of it was dandruff bc I flicked it right now but like 2 one them were like an inch from my scalp and harder to take out...but when i got it and cut it into tiny pieces, there was nothing "inside". I just went to my 34 week doctors appointment today and everything went good as usual, although I've attained a bladder infection which is fairly normal throughout pregnancy. I guess sometimes my family memebers and Boyfriend have to wake me up from crying hysterically while I'm still asleep. I ignored cos i didnt one to start a fight as I was outnumbered so then when tried to stop, the big guy he punched me in the face. thats when me and my crap dripping friend tried running away. the teens and big guy ripped our valuables off us as we tried to get away and then tackled my mate to the ground, i tripped and fell grazing myself very badly. the big guy and his gang procedded to kick the living daylights out of my friend on the ground while I could do nothing but watch as the guys did not touch me. I moved closer trying to tell them to stop while my mate kept cringing on the ground as they put fists and legs into him. One of them punched me in the head again. I realised i could do nothing so I ran off to the police beat which was only a block away. I didnt knw how to contact the cops however as u had to pick up a payphone or something. I then went to a nearby house and told them to call the police. they promised they would and i was left standing outside their door alone. I did not want to run back up there to my friend as I knew they would be bashing the daylights out of him and I was scared, ok. Then a bystander who was at the illegal party called out from the street and said he had my mates phone and that my mate ran off. I walked with him back up there, he gave me the phone and I saw my mate bleeding and walking up a different way. I went to him and saw he had lost his bag and hes face was worse then mine. he had a bleeding nose, badly grazed and bleeding arms from when they dragged him and a cut eye. We had to get away before those people saw us together so thanking the bystander we ran away from that area and hid at a randoms house until the ambs and police came to get us. as we drove off in the ambs i could here them laughing and talking to themselves. those bastards. My question is this,,, I know I shouldnt have been walking at night there but if I had, what could I have done to prevent them stealing from us and bashing us up? My 9 year old has inflamed nipples after going to the beach, why?

After spending a few hours at the beach in the water, we go home. My 9 year old shows us her chest which is a normal flat kid chest, she hasn't developed breasts yet. Anyway her nipples are inflamed and red, and there are little red dots around them. Any idea what could've caused this? I have a $20 Revlon dryer that I just use to dry my hair a little bit sometimes or I diffuse my hair with mousse. Ive been using a flat iron to style my hair for years. I really love the volume look that a blow dryer can give- also the curl on the ends. I think blown out hair is so much better looking than straightened hair. I got a $100 t3 pro and it's such a big difference from my $20 Revlon but my hair is to bra strap in the back and its really thick and wavy so it still took a long time even tho it seemed to dry faster. There is a $200 and a $250 version of the t3...could styling products, a good round brush, and a $200-$250 hair dryer really make that much of a difference on time and ease of blow drying or should I just give up and stick with the flat iron? It's a good idea to wash your sheets at least once a week. There is no known cure for eczema, but you can try hydrocortisone. You can go to walgreens, walmart, basically any store that sells cortizone. I would not recommend Aveeno, as it can cause burning and make you scratch more. Habit of picking and scratching my scalp?

So a few weeks ago/months ago, I had a small case of lice. I never really itched my head or anything. Recently, I got rid of it completely. But now I find myself picking at my scalp. Can dogs contract pubic lice "Crabs" from a human or from laying on bedding that a person who has crabs used?

I have 2 dogs, the oldest (1y 6m) is half shih tzu half lhasa apso and the youngest (4m) is a mini pinscher. My roommate had company a few weeks ago stay here while the roommate was out of town, this person was only here about 3 days, but a week later when I went to change the roommates bedding I noticed there were pubic lice "Crabs" on the sheets.. I am worried now because my dogs may have entered the roommates room and they like to lay on the bed.. Can they catch and possibly spread this pubic lice to each other or possibly to myself or one of the two roommates? The dogs are given flee and tick medicine monthly that i put on them myself, it is the liquid kind that you place at their neck and down their backs a little ways.. I can not find any information on the package where it states it helps prevent anything other than flees or ticks. Any information would be greatly appreciated..

go chemist or doctors and get special treatment eg their shampoos that can kill head lice quickly or use a head lice comb and get lavender it comes in a bottle you can pour it in water just a few drops and dip the comb in and brush the lice out and squash them in tissue.

I think anyone who works in a school has a type of responsibility to report/respond to someone in this type of situation. I definitely do not envy your position. If I were you I would have a meeting immediately with the teacher and principal stating as firmly as possible that you were not ever molested/raped. High school Sweetheart Statistics!?

Okay. So me and my boyfriend have been together for about 4 years. We're about to be seniors in high school and very in love. I cannot imagine my life without him. Whenever we have broken up we get back together cause honestly, we can never get over each other. I love him to death and for me, this isn't a high school thing. My 3 and a half year old daughter has caught nits from my friends daughter. She has been scratching her head for just over a week now but I'd checked her hair asnd couldnt find anything. Last Thursday morning her head was absolutely infested with them! (its like they came out of nowhere) Her hair was practically black with bloody lice eggs!! I treated her hair and spent nearly 2 hours combing it trying to get them out. I managed to get the lice out and the dead eggs but some of the fresh eggs where too small and just slipped through the comb. I checked the net and it said to wait for them to hatch and treat the hair again in 7 days. Well shes been at her dads over the weekend and when I checked her hair yesterday it was absolutley full of them again!! The amount of **** ive got out of her hair is unbelieveable! I cant understand how its getting re-infested so quickly? Now Ive caught them off her! Its driving me insane, I hate the thought of it! Anyone got any advice or equally horrible nit stories?

I know there are dogs that are known for being good with cows and dogs that are being good with sheep, but I've never heard of dogs that are good around horses. So yeah... that's my question.
